Bio

Georgine Yorgey is the Associate Director of WSU’s Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources, where she has worked since 2009. She works with both researchers and regional stakeholders on issues relating to recovering energy and nutrients from waste organics, with a focus on dairy systems. She also leads work on climate change and agriculture, including numerous projects relating to adaptation and mitigation across Washington’s diverse agricultural systems.
