Bio

The thesis on hydrogen at the end of my mechanical engineering studies sparked my fascination for the energy sector. During my 33 years with Thüga AG in Munich, a group of 100 local utilities active in gas, electricity and district heating, I was able to work in many different fields and positions. Since 2018 as Head of our Brussels office, where the decarbonisation of our energy grids is my main topic with a special focus on renewable and low-carbon gases and the reduction of methane emissions.
