Alexandra KOSTEREVA

Bio

Alexandra joined the European Gas Research Group team in 2019, and has since been actively involved in all research activities of the Group (on hydrogen, biomethane, CCUS, methane emissions), and manages the Group's participation to over 10 European-funded research projects. Alexandra has an Engineering (Master’s level) degree with a specialisation in Energy, and a Master’s degree in Economics of Energy. She completed a Blue Book Traineeship at the European Commission (DG ENER) in 2020.

• Operations Manager

  European Gas Research Group (GERG) - Full-time From March 2021 to Present

  Management of the operations of the GERG Secretariat: member management, creation and updates of GERG Research Roadmaps, writing of project proposals (internal and EU-funded), Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation for European projects (Horizon Europe, Clean Hydrogen Partnership, European Partnership for Metrology), support to the Secretary General.

• Blue Book Trainee

  European Commission, Directorate-General for Energy - Internship From October 2020 to February 2021

  Blue Book Traineeship in DG ENER, working with the team reponsible for the Methane Emissions Strategy. Literature research, consultations with experts, creating and analysing public questionnaires, writing for the Impact Assessment report.
