Bio

I am a researcher at the Energy Lab in Orkestra - Basque Institute of Competitiveness. I am an economist with a master's degree in Applied Economics and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Universidad del Valle, Colombia. My research focuses on energy markets, specifically electricity and natural gas price modeling, risk measurement and hedging, and the impact of weather and climate change on prices.

  Postdoctoral researcher at the Energy Lab of the Basque Institute of Competitiveness. I work on projects with regional stakeholders and research about the electricity market design, wholesale and retail prices' determinants, the impact of weather and climate change on prices, and the impact of price dynamics on the welfare of society and the competitiveness of the industry.
