Bio

I'm a barrister. I started my career at the Department for Business, before moving to Ofgem. There I have specialised in the price controls applied to the network energy companies. I led the legal support for the gas transmission sector for RIIO2. I led the legal support for the new price control for the electricity distribution sector: RIIO-ED2. I was the licence drafting lead for the RIIO2 and RIIO-ED2 price controls and the legal lead for the price control building blocks.

  In the Consumer Rights Team I worked on primary and secondary legislation e.g. the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Scotland Act 2016, the Immigration Act 2016. I negotiated and implemented EU law.rnIn also worked prosecuting insolvency and company law related offences and provided advice to the Insolvency Service.
