Bio

I have eight years' experience working as an energy lawyer. I am currently working at Iberdrola in Global Energy Management, where I advise on EU power and gas markets, as well as on financial and non-financial operations. I am currently a PhD candidate researching EU energy governance, crisis response, market design, and cross-border integration. I am also a member of the Energy Traders Europe Legal Committee.

• Global Energy Management Lawyer

  Iberdrola - Full-time From December 2022 to Present

  I provide legal advice to cover the energy management activity in the market (daily and intraday, long- and short-term market and trading) for the Central Operations Office. I review and negotiate different financial and non-financial contracts: ISDA, EFET, CfDs, PPAs, among others, and I monitor those agreements until the transaction is closed or during the term of the contracts to comply with EMIR, REMIT, MiFID, local and foreign legislation.
