My name is Jewel Joshy. I currently work as a regulatory analyst within the retail operations and market design team at the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation. I come from an engineering background and holds a master's degree in Business Analytics from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

  Working as a Regulatory Analyst, I am responsible for providing analysis and advice on energy (electricity and gas) issues, as they relate to Northern Ireland consumers, the Single Electricity Market (SEM) and to the companies that we regulate. In addition,I play an active role in supporting the organisation as it supports government initiatives as part of the climate change transition. I work across a variety of functions within a teambased environment, to deliver the regulatory objectives.
