Bio

Ellen De Vocht is Senior Political and Regulatory Affairs Advisor currently at the European Energy Exchange (EEX). In this role, she provides expertise on policy and regulation related to sustainable finance as well as European and international carbon pricing. Before joining EEX, she spent time in public affairs consulting in Brussels. As a political scientist at Ghent University, Ellen also holds a Master’s degree in Global Energy Transition and Governance from CIFE.

  European Energy Exchange - Full-time From January 2020 to Present

  Senior Policy Advisor in the EEX' EU representation office in Brussels, in charge of European and international developments in the field of carbon pricing and sustainable finance policy. In addition, I also co-chair the global EEX Group's Sustainability Committee, which guides the corporate direction on ESG matters.
