Dr. Isabel Bartolomé-Rodríguez is Associate Professor of Economic History at the Universidad de Sevilla. She obtained her PhD in History and Civilization at the European University Institute in Florence and was a postdoctoral fellow for six years at the ISCTE-Lisbon Economics Institute in Lisbon. His main research areas are the History of Energy (Wood, Electricity, and Gas), the History of the link between water-resources and hydropower, and, more recently, Consumption and Wages in Early Modern
