María Isabel Bartolomé Rodríguez

Bio

Dr. Isabel Bartolomé-Rodríguez is Associate Professor of Economic History at the Universidad de Sevilla. She obtained her PhD in History and Civilization at the European University Institute in Florence and was a postdoctoral fellow for six years at the ISCTE-Lisbon Economics Institute in Lisbon. His main research areas are the History of Energy (Wood, Electricity, and Gas), the History of the link between water-resources and hydropower, and, more recently, Consumption and Wages in Early Modern

  I am in charge of some undergraduate courses, as well as a graduate Master course in the Faculty of Economics. I usually teach Economic History, Economic History of Spain and European History of Economic Consultory. rnI am also involved in several research projects, the most relevant being an study of green energies development in Spain from an Economic History approach.
