Bio

As a Policy Advisor at Bellona, Arianna works on Energy Systems with a special focus on electrification. She has gathered experience in Just Transition and decarbonisation at organisations such as the MCC Research Institute and the Wuppertal Institute in Berlin. Arianna holds a Master's degree in International Affairs, with a focus on European Governance from Hertie School in Berlin, as well as a BSc in International Politics and Government at Bocconi University in Milan.

  Being part of the International Energy Transitions Research Unit, I collaborate in the research on coal phase-out and Just Energy Transition in different Coal and Carbon Intensive Regions. Moreover, I am also participating in the Indonesia component of the GIZ-led project "Innovation Regions for a Just Energy Transition".
