Irene works at Bellona Europa, on the embodied carbon policy in the construction sector. She has a background in Industrial & Electromechanical Engineering, with a focus in energy. Prior to joining Bellona, she worked in energy efficiency projects in the FMCG industry. She volunteers in ClimaTalk, a youth-led climate organisation, and other social non-profit initiatives. She is also an alumna of the EIT Climate-KIC Journey 2020 and is passionate about tackling environmental challenges.
