Bio

Disha Lagadamane Dinesha is currently a final-year PhD student in Indian Institute of Science. She holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institute (2018) and a PG Diploma in Cyber Law from National Law School of India University (2023). Her research areas include Blockchain in Energy, Energy Law and Policy, and Power System Dynamic Studies. She has also interned in NITI Aayog which is the apex public policy think tank of Government of India.

First ever indexing attempt for India using Microsoft Excel.rnrnGreen Hydrogen Supply Chain : Thorough understanding and delineating China’s strategy on green hydrogen and its supply chain. Gave a detailed presentation titled, “China’s Hydrogen Policy and Industry Analysis” which was later incorporated as policy recommendations and lessons learnt for India’s green hydrogen policy.

  Energy Flow Analysis in a 3 Wheeler : Simulated the energy flow and calculated the energy loss and usage in each component of the given vehicle using Simulink. Identified the highest losses among mechanical and electrical components and passed the findings (confidential) to the design team. Had to interact and obtain data from all the divisions.

  BRICS Youth Energy Agency - Contract / consultant From April 2024 to July 2024

  Analyzed employment and entrepreneurial opportunities of emerging technologies like blockchain technology in the energy sector. Collectively provided policy recommendations for various scenarios documented in the policy report BRICS Youth Energy Outlook 2024 which was presented in G20, BRICS, and COP29 summits. Worked with an international team of 16 spread across 4 continents in the Business in Energy Sector Expert Group.

  Second lead in an international team of 15 for the chapter titled, “Technologies for Low Carbon Power Systems” in BRICS Youth Energy Outlook 2025 report which will be presented in COP30, G20, BRICS high level political forum meetings. Provided policy and investment analysis for emerging technologies like AI, Blockchain, and IoT in the Energy domain.
