Passionate and experienced in energy, electricity market and regulations and trying to give my contribution to the field through my PhD research focusing on European Union energy regulations. Batteries gain my focus.

• Project Leader - Nord Pool Spot Baltic

  Nord Pool Spot - Full-time From December 2007 to December 2008

  The aim of the project was to establish a day-ahead market Elspot and an intraday market Elbas in one or more of the Baltic countries.The initial task was to create a Nord Pool Spot price area quoting hourly prices at the southern part of the Estlink cable, a submarine cable connecting Estonia and Finland. The project created a good basis for a new price area, and not least, provided increased knowledge of the prerequisites for a well functioning electricity market in the Baltic area.

  Nord Pool Spot - Full-time From February 2010 to November 2011

  The aim of the project was to make the sale and purchase of electricity for physical delivery between the Baltic countries more efficient and optimize cross-border capacity utilization. The project will support the establishment of the physical market places. The plan is to expand the physical market place of Nord Pool Spot into the Baltic states, including the day-ahead market (Elspot) and intraday market (Elbas).
