Greentalent, a recruiter specialized in the search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering, and Environment sectors, on behalf of GME – Gestore dei Mercati Energetici S.p.A., a company controlled by GSE S.p.A., is seeking:

REGULATION PROFILE

Candidates should have obtained a specialist degree/one-cycle degree/old system degree in technical-economic, political-social, or legal disciplines and have between 2 to 6 years of experience in corporate, consultancy, or academic settings, focusing on the regulation of the electricity and/or natural gas sector. Knowledge of EU and national regulations, both primary and secondary, governing the electricity and natural gas sectors is required, particularly the organized markets and trading systems for electricity and gas. Knowledge of the renewable
energy sector is also desirable.

Candidates must also have an excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.

The curriculum vitae must explicitly detail experiences relevant to the requirements, including the specific periods (month and year of start and end) and the knowledge gained in the required areas.

The selected resource will report to the Head of the Legal and Regulation Department and will be primarily involved in the following activities:

• Constant monitoring of national and EU regulatory developments;
• Drafting/updating the rules for the markets and platforms organized and managed by GME;
• Regulatory consulting through the analysis of legislative proposals and regulatory acts issued by institutional entities, and support in drafting technical regulations;
• Regulatory activities related to international market development and integration projects;
• International contract management.

Problem-solving skills, precision, discretion in handling confidential information, initiative, and a team-oriented approach complete the profile.

An open-ended contract is offered with a salary level commensurate with the candidate’s experience and professionalism.

Candidates are also informed that those who have exercised supervisory or control powers over GME while employed by a Public Administration in the three years preceding the selection cannot be hired.
