Details of the post
○ Design and launch DR/DF/BDR pilots with utilities
○ Define program logic including baseline, M&V, and settlement frameworks
○ Translate utility and regulatory requirements into product and system design
○ Work closely with engineering on backend integrations, APIs, and data flows
○ Build repeatable program templates for scale across utilities
○ Contribute to shaping new energy ecosystems and partnerships
Requirements
○ Core Requirement: Domain & Technical Depth: We are looking for candidates with strong grounding in energy systems and utility operations. You should:
i. Understand how DISCOMs manage peak load, procurement, and grid constraints
ii. Have working knowledge of Demand Response, Demand Flexibility, DERs, and grid programs
iii. Be familiar with smart meters, telemetry, EMS/DERMS, or similar systems
iv. Understand or be able to quickly learn baseline, M&V, and settlement logic
v. Be comfortable working with data flows, APIs, and backend systems
i. Ability to translate complex program requirements into clear product requirements and user stories
ii. Can break down ambiguous problems into structured, buildable components
iii. Comfortable working closely with engineers on system-driven products
iv. Able to define a practical MVP and avoid overbuilding
i. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working on demand response or utility load management and / or product
management
ii. Prior exposure to energy, utilities, grid-tech, or DER ecosystems
iii. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Energy Management
